Having been self-employed for the past fifteen years, and having tried many, many things I can safely say that the thinking in pictures bit does work for me. When it comes to planning and plotting things I also enjoy using mind maps. I've been using them since 2002 and haven't looked back. You've got a great blog, and I will be back for more.
